UGREEN M.2 Enclosure for SATA NGFF SSD, Aluminum USB 3.1 Gen 2 to B+M/B-Key 2280/2260/2242/2230 External Solid State Drive Enclosure w/UASP Compatible for Samsung, WD, Crucial, Kingston, Tool Free : desertcart.in: Computers & Accessories Review: Don't. - I thought ugreen is a standard brand because of the name but it is TRASH. I inserted my nvme to the enclosure. When I connected it to my computer it heats up and it didn't show up on my desktop and for 2k rs it doesn't come with thermal pads or cooling fan. You can buy the Pibox one that comes with a build in fan, thermal pad and usb 3.2 gen. It costs like 1.5k It's not worth it. Review: Easy to use! It allowed me to easily migrate my Linux installation from my old hard drive: boot with live CD, plug the UGREEN enclosure with my SSD placed inside it, and use "dd" to migrate all my drive data into it.

I thought it was not keyed right for my m+b m.2 but it worked without issue even though it only has a b key in the connector. It's pretty slick, small cool metal with an integrated led. (I only have usb 3.0 right now)Seems quality and runs at 230mb with crystal mark where my $50 one is plastic and only runs at 220mb with the same drive. Cheap and fast, best of both. worked with both wd blue and evo. Adding a bit here, been using a couple months and have one caveat. The rubber bit that hold the drive in place has allowed the drive to work out twice. The first time I thought the drive went corrupt and reformated. The second time I realized the card just needed to be re-seated. I'll probably rig something a little more secure. Also, the compartment seems to slide open a bit too easy, will probably make an adjustment there too. Otherwise it works super.

This is the second time I bought these products. I bought the casing and 1TB ssd to use as a working external drive for my PC laptop a year ago and have had no problems. I have just bought my wife the casing and a 500MB ssd as an external drive for her MAC. Both were easy to install and get up and running. Excellent products and super fast.
