Type 2 switches
Upfront these are type 2 switches or at least the ones I got were. There are may tutorials on how to differentiate between type 2 and type 1, so my advice is to test your switch when you get it, it will save you grief. These switches have a good positive feel to them with well defined clicks between positions. It's hard to get a good idea how small these things are by pictures and descriptions. But know that I put two of them between the volume and tone controls on my thinline telecaster to do a series/coil split/parallel set up - it's a little crowded but they fit. I might also add i used dime sized pots but my knobs were fender witch hat style. These are quality switches regardless of price. YMMV.

Great for HB/SC/Series pickup install
I have used this switch in multiple installations for connecting my microphones, and for adapting others from traditional HB to parallel/single coil/series. They get the job done. Good value for the money.

Good quality 1P3T ON-ON-ON Toggle switches
After reading all the disgruntled buyers I was wondering if we got them from the same place. The 3 I got are all on-on-on Toggle switches. I have used these 1P3T toggles as well as their bigger brothers the 2P3T ones for many years now. They are nicer than rotary switches when you have 3 inputs. I wonder if folks know how to wire them; you need that jumper for each pole. If you try checking them with only an ohmmeter you'll get confused easily. The quality of my switches was very good, all hardware was including 2 hex nuts for each switch. I would definitely order more when I need them.

Seeming reliable, needs a schematic sheet.
These seem to be a quality switch, though the package would benefit from a schematic on what the poles do in each position; rather a waste of time with a multi-meter running continuity tests to find which poles connect in each of three positions. The contacts for soldering a pretty small, though seeming not unusual for circuit hardware of this type.

THESE ARE NOT ON-ON-ON SWITCHES!
These switches are NOT 3PST switches (ON-ON-ON) types. They are ordinary DPDT switches (ON-OFF-ON). The page that describes them as ON-ON-ON switches in NOT CORRECT! DO NOT BUY THEM IF YOU ARE SHOPPING FOR 3PST Guitar switches!

Great quality
Used these for a doubleneck project. One switch to select between two humbuckers on top neck and a second switch to select top/both/bottom neck. Worked perfect.

Just What I Needed
Perfect. Used this to add series, parallel and single-coil options to the MM humbucker on my project bass.

be careful about which way the switch is aimed...
I needed on/on/on mini toggle switched for a guitar build. Everyone in the world has DPDT, 6 pin, 3 position switched...but most of them are on/off/on--be very careful if you want the on/on/on, because they look exactly like the on/off/on. When you're using them, the center pins are your input and output respectively (it doesn't matter which center pin you use for what). You will see a notch cut into one side of the threaded shaft of the switch, and I arbitrarily decided that that would be "position one". But when the switch is in "position one", the two pins at that end of the switch are not the ones activated; it is the two pins at the OTHER end of the switch, and vice versa. With the switch in "position two" (handle straight up) the two center pins are activated. Aside from that tiny bit of confusion, these are great switches--in fact, I just bought more.
