Q: How meany books will it hold?

I dont recommend it be used for a book shelf- but open all of the way will hold a lot of books.

Q: Approximately how deep is the drawer? Specifically will K-cups fit inside?

The drawer is small- but it just might fit the kcup. I don't have any to measure exactly though- sorry.

Q: Upon taking out the item to put together and after, it smells like harsh chemicals and paint combined. Is this safe to use and keep next to you?

I think it is a fantastic product. I didn't notice a smell and I've had the shelf on my desk for a while now. Works great and was super easy to assemble. I highly recommend this product. 👌

Q: Could you hang this on a wall?

You could, but you would have to screw it together first. When you put it together it is like 3 separate parts so you can arrange it differently on your desk. It’s so pretty though. I love it.
