The old man came well packed, It was very simple to fit to our old tree stump would suggest that you place the parts roughly where you want them then use wood screws x4 and check that each part fits the screw head as each part may differ in mounting hole size then fit the screws to the tree stump and attach each part (4 parts) I had no problem fitting after checking above and it looks great brings a smile on faces. A bit pricey but worth it. See my before and after pictures.
