Q: How would it work plugged in to the output jack of an old casio keyboard?

I use it as a practice amp with my guitar. For the price, it is well worth it. It should work fine with a keyboard also.

Q: Does this work with bass guitar?

yes it will work with bass guitar but at low volume. The speaker is not specifically designed for bass, like regular bass amps, but it will be sufficient for practice. Don't expect it to rattle the windows but if you keep it at a reasonable volume, it will be fine.
