Tried and failed
Apparently I was gullible enough to believe all the advertising. I tried for days to install this and was completely unsuccessful. To say the least it was frustrating and blood pressure raising. I returned it and Amazon refunded my money. Unless you're a tech whiz kid save yourself the aggravation.

Impossible to get a high quality print?
Update: In light of ongoing investigations with Lantronix support, and their engineers, I'm optimistically raising my rating a bit. It looks like the device is almost certainly capable of higher quality prints. We're trying to sort out driver issues (on the device) and have managed to get some significant improvements. This also appears to be specific to certain drivers (again, on the device, not on your Chromebook or Android) so your mileage may vary. Please take the remainder of this review with a grain of salt, and of anticipation.I was super excited about this product, and there are definitely some things to like about it. It's small and simple. Initial setup is incredibly easy! It appears to be an embedded Linux device running some version of CUPS (the standard print system used on Linux and MacOS, you can see this by digging into the advanced settings to find some very familiar dialogs). Unfortunately it has one fatal, fundamental shortcoming - it's impossible to get a high quality print through it.The problem is that at some point your print job is rasterized (turned into an image instead of a document). The output looks like what you get when you anti-alias a curve, using grays to approximate the edges of the curve, and then re-render those grays back to black-and-white again. The result is that where you should have 600 or 1200dpi smooth curves, instead you get tiny ragged squiggle edges. Even on straight black lines you'll see this effect. It looks really awful.I tried several different documents and images from both my Chromebook and my Android phone. None of them look good. It's like turning your fine high-quality laser printer into a 15 year old ink-jet. Photos look even worse, and hearken back to the days of dot-matrix.There's a knowledge base article on the Lantronix support site that claims that unexpectedly poor quality is a limitation imposed by the Google Cloud Print service. This doesn't appear to me to be true in the general sense, though it may be true when using the PWG Raster format. I printed in 300dpi from my Mac for comparison and the quality degradation when printing through the xPrintServer is striking. You can take the presence of that article to mean that Lantronix doesn't intend to fix the problem - the device may not be capable of printing from any input but PWG Raster. For another comparison, I setup the same printer, already configured on my Mac, in Chrome so that I could at least print to it from Chromebook when my Mac is also at home and online. This rarely happens in real life, of course, which is why I bought the xPrintServer. Using that setup I was able to get very high quality prints (including 1200dpi) from my Chromebook. If you download drivers specific to your printer (mine is a Brother HL-2170W, click on Printers > Printer Drivers on the web console) you can get Cloud Print to think that it can send PDF to the xPrintServer (Supported Content Types: application/pdf), but the first time you print to it, Cloud Print will update the Advanced Details to say "Supported Content Types: image/pwg-raster", and you'll get the same terrible quality you got before.Lantronix is not being entirely truthful about the limitations of Google Cloud Print. It can print very high quality, just not through their device. If you just want to be able to print something from your phone or Chromebook, and don't care what it looks like, you might like this product. But if you care at all about print quality - turn away.

Must have if you have a Chromebook and want to print from it.
Easy setup and it works with all my devices(Chromebook,Android phone and tablets,pc's). It's also easy to print away from home with all my devices. This thing is the real deal, much better than I thought it would be. If you need help with setup it's all over the net ,just Google it.

Printserver
Suppose to be easy to install and use but it worked for a short period of time then quit. Would not seem to keep locked in. Reviews were great but I could not make it work correctly.Sent it back for refund.

Great for Chrom Book printing.
I set this up for my sister so she could print from her Chrome Book. It works well with network printers. It will also let you connect a USB printer. You configure it using your WEB browser. The only problem I had was that during the initial setup, I had to connect it directly to the router. It couldn't get an IP address going through a switch connected to the router. (OK - I have too many wired connections...) Once I set it up, this was not a problem.

Not Impressed
Didn't work with the HP2600N as it states it does on the website. Box was really slow and bogged down when trying to configure.

Only if you're patient
Don't but for a office. Only processes one job at a time, and to a further extent, one page at a time.

Works well with occasional hiccups.
Pro: Setup is relatively easy. Works as advertised, allowing networks printers not equipped with Google Cloud print to be added to the GCP service.Con: About every 1-2 months our unit stops printing jobs and requires a manual restart to resume. This may however be due to our network environment, I have not tested it anywhere else.
