Excellent. Very fast printer and very easy set up.

Bought for home office replacing an older high quality 1200 dpi HP laser, I’ve been in print for 30 years, and worked with pro machines costing more than a house. So although in the ‘budget’ range its faster but the print quality is exceptional for the pricepoint and almost as good as the old 1200dpi printer. And the tonal range and smooth gradients are truly impressive. Scanning too is simple and intuitive. Also needed the duplex feature (prints both sides of the paper in one go) and again so easy to control in the print menu and two sided registration is accurate. Have 2 networked Macs so wanted the enet capability as well as wifi for printing direct from mobiles and tablets anywhere. So easy to set up and all worked first time. And so far using a good 90gsm paper there have been no jams, smooth as butter! It is slightly noisier but hey,thats all, look at the above… Whats not to love!

4.5 stars. Let's start with the negatives: the printed guides are probably ok as fire lighters and the HP videos are next to useless, finding the serial number and admin password took a little time to find but I found it under the printer lid next to the toner cartridge . Scans seem to only work via the HP App but they do work quite well. Positives: the HP Set up-app worked really well for 2 x iPhones, 1 MacBook Air and an iPad 10th gen. The wireless set-up was surprisingly smooth but don't try and be clever by setting up multiple devices at the same time, once one device is installed on your preferred main device the process of adding other devices is easier as the printer is already networked and should show in the available printer lists, all devices will still need the HP App to do this ( as far as I could see ). From unboxing to final test printing it took about 45 min with no serious headaches. Print quality looks pretty good and is ideal for simple B&W documents. Scans need to be made via the App and can be saved as PDF. Just need to see how well the toner lasts and how reliable it is over the next few months but so far i'm happy with this Printer.

No need for long stories: I am a student and needed a printer at home, and this printer does exactly what it says. I have been using it for months, and no issues since then. I have been a strong fan of HP products for almost for over two decades and still am!

Absolutely terrible printer. It uses so much ink it makes the cost almost 20 pence a sheet. My ink is no empty on my third toner cartridge and the printer has only done 1000 sheets. The last cartridge said it would do 2300 pages. It has done 400 max. The cartridge cost £67. I hardly used it before the return period expired or I would have returned it. Biggest waste of money I’ve ever had off amazon
