Boyd’s Lost Lake Decaf Coffee - Medium-Dark Roast - Single Cup (12 Count)

I’m impressed. I usually drink espresso for my morning cups. This is definitely the best tasting Kcup coffee, not to mention kcup decaf, I’ve ever had, by a long shot. (ha) I bring kcups to work bc that’s the available machine. I’ve never had what I consider a good cup of joe from a keurig or pod system; I use the smallest cup setting to strengthen the result. It's coffee. I sought a better option than the single decaf kcup offered at TJ’s—it’s not v tasty. I thought I’d try this based on price. My expectations were low, but even so, I’m blown away at the fantastic aroma it produced and the excellent flavor. It’s strong and gutsy! Doesn’t present as decaf. I can try a medium cup next time, so I can enjoy a longer drink. The compostability of these seals the deal. I read on the Boyd's site that the ring is made from coffee bean by-product--NOT PLASTIC as many reviewers have asserted. Organic decaf in compostable kcups! Buy this decaf before they raise the price. So good!

I was skeptical getting cheaper coffee on Amazon because I really love the taste of coffee but am a college student so can't afford a nice cup everyday. Well now I think I can! I love coffee and this was one of the best Keurig cups of coffee I've ever had. Highly highly suggest this coffee to anyone who likes strong coffee without the bitterness. With a lot of k-cups I find it tastes watered down and overall not great, I honestly thought it was my Keurig... but now I know it's just the Starbucks/green mountain coffee. Great coffee!

I was hoping the packaging would be more eco friendly. (Perhaps a paper bag option?) But here’s my review: - great flavor - Fits my Cuisinart k cup maker perfectly - k cup held together great, no issues at all with brewing - but that foil/plastic non recyclable bag irritated me :(

I have searched for a decaf, coffee that taste like coffee. I have been purchasing Green Mountain ( I like the taste) but I discovered the coffee is not the same and must come from different sellers as the price varied. I didn’t want to take that chance again so I accidentally found this coffee and I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am. I drink 6-7 cups black coffee daily and there is nothing worse than a weak cup of coffee. Another positive is the pod as I felt guilty using so many Kcups. This coffee is better than Green Mountain and Star Bucks ( to me) This is the first decaf coffee that I can actually make a 14oz cup with one pod and be satisfied with the taste. If you don’t like strong coffee this is not for you , but for coffee lovers like myself you’ll wonder why haven’t You purchased this decaf coffee pods before now. Yes they fit my Keurig.

I’ve been looking FOREVER for a reasonably priced, great-tasting decaf organic k-cup coffee where the company that makes it is serious about creating less waste. Unlike those other big coffee companies that talk big about the environment (talking to you Starbucks) but still use full plastic k-cups, Boyd’s uses 100% compostable k-cups. On top of that their coffee tastes fantastic and is cheaper than many other “premium” brands that aren’t even organic. As if all that wasn’t enough, they use Swiss water process to decaffeinate instead of chemicals. If you’re searching like I was, look no further, you have arrived!

This is by far the best decaf I've ever had! I was so disappointed when Boyd's was bought out and they closed down their roasting company in Portland, OR. But I'm glad I can still get it. Not only does it have a great bold (but not bitter) flavor, the K-cup is compostable unlike most other brands out there.

These pods "leak" dry coffee dust even when gently tapped. I could get over that.... I'm a save the planet person and really want to find sustainability in all the family does. In this case, however, the caveat is that the coffee has to TASTE GOOD! This one was pretty bad...bitter, just not a good taste. I'm not sure how long it would take for the plastic ring to break down. It's substantial. Also, not on this product per se, but it's buyer beware about all "compostable" edibles and utensils...some will only compost in an industrial compost and who has that? We found a place to recycle K-cups in our business by shipping them to a facility so my K-cup guilt is slightly lessened but still, now that we can no longer ship our plastic off shore, we better pay attention to starting compost piles and supplying our homes with compostable materials. It takes a little trouble to go green but we all need to be conscious about where we are creating avoidable waste.

I like that the pod is biodegradable. I especially like the fact that this tastes like good strong coffee even though it's decaf. It has a bold smooth flavor and I look forward to a hot cup every morning and occasional iced coffee in the afternoon.
