Simple, good price, works well
What more can I add that wasn't in the title? It's just a sata power cable that works.

Great extension cable for large cases.
If you have a larger case and shorter power supply cables. You will need extensions. This one is well built and has worked great. No melting of the wires or connector. And I've been using it for months. A must for large cases. Grab one or a few and keep them on hand if you frequently build new PCs or are thinking of building a new one soon.

Easy button
I bought an internal USB 3.0 card for a small form factor PC which required external (to the card slot) power to be provided. Naturally, these over-engineered SFF PC's have no spare connections. I bought a splitter and, also, and extender and, as expected, it works marvelously. The only quibble is with myself - having to spend money on stuff like this when I'm 100% certain that, over the years, I've gotten cables like this for free with various devices and, not needing them at the time, I threw them out.

Not sure if this is the same product...
This thing might have just burned up my HDD. First of all, not sure if I received the correct product. Pic shows 5 wires, mine only has 4 (that one has 2 red wires, mine only has one). Also, this thing is 5", maybe 6" long, NOT 12". Unplugged everything, connected this to a SATA power cable off my modular power supply. I had the case open, so I could immediately cut the power when I saw smoke. Completely fried the wire in 5 seconds. I've never had this happen with a SATA extension cable. Furthermore, it doesn't look like the copper leads are properly in place. I might have just gotten the worst dud they've got...
