Solid and clean audio source selector WITH volume control
I got this another unit (both pictured) to compare. I really like the aesthetics of the smaller one better but this one provided volume control and the signal flow was still very clean with no added noise and no volume loss (which sometimes when you add a volume controller you lose some headroom on the max side of the dial- on this unit you do not- 100% volume is truly 100%, at least from a human hearing perspective). The quality of the sound is great, just like a clean pass-through. The build quality is nice but the "feel" of it is only OK. The aesthetics could be better and this feels more like a folded sheetmetal case vs the other unit is a solid machined piece of aluminum with a much more premium feel and weight. If you don't need volume control and want something more premium, I'd go with the other unit. But if volume control is important, this unit is excellent. Easy to use and highly functional. The switching is clean with no static or noise between changing sources.

Perfect and easy to use
Easy to hook up and works as described. I often switch from speakers to headphones, and this product was really helpful. One button. Easy.

Good for sharing speakers between two computers
My new KVM switch did not have ports for sharing my speakers between two computers, so I had to look for a dedicated audio switch. This one is doing the job. So far, I've had no problem switching from one device to the other. I keep it beside the KVM, so when I switch one, I also switch the other. The price was very affordable with one exception. The 3.5mm cable that comes with the unit is too short. I had to buy three new, longer cables which increased the cost of ownership. That is why I downgraded this review to four stars. If you are not bothered by that, then consider the product to be five stars for price and performance. I've only had it a few months, so I can't say what the long-term quality will be. Fingers crossed. One of the most important features of an audio-sharing device is sound quality. There is no hiss or static. The tone is clear and good, though I perceive there is some signal loss (volume). It isn't enough to send it back. When I got the longer cables, it was easy to set up. Since both computers I use have 3.5mm ports, connectivity was no issue. Everything works. Pretty good product and I recommend it with the above caveats in mind.

Sound quality is perfect
I am using this audio switch/volume control to attach either a Bluetooth receiver or audio from a monitor headphone jack to an amp and speakers. The unit works perfectly with no loss of audio quality. I am using high quality audio cabling and I am not experiencing any audio hum, buzzing or distortion as mentioned in some of the ratings. Quality of this unit is excellent for my application.

it works well
I use this to switch from TV to TV to my laptop when watching or reviewing items on my computer. The Audio Switch work very well, and I can change the volume when needed. The audio is very clear.

DO NOT BUY!!! High pitch Squeal after 3 months of use
Worked for about 3 months, now it has a high pitch squeal about half of the time. Do NOT BUY!!!! total garbage. I tried different cables to makes sure that wasn't the problem and it wasn't it is the stupid box creates some kind of feedback loop.

Great Passive Audio Switch and Volume Control if you use dedicated studio speakers.
If you have multiple computers and multiple monitors with separate studio speakers, this is a good way to switch audio between your computers using one set of speakers. An actual KVM switch that can switch multiple computers and monitors between a single keyboard and mouse with audio switching as well can get very pricey, whereas if you for-go audio switching the price drops and it opens up more options, such as Display Port with HDMI, versus just one or the other. Now there are no active electronics inside this well built sturdy box. So it can’t be used to increase the volume over what is being sent through it. So keep that in mind and set your computer volumes and speaker volume accordingly. Being a passive device it does not degrade the sound quality at all. I can’t speak to the longevity of this device but with some care I would think it would hold up well. At least if it does go bad for some reason it would be fairly inexpensive to replace vs having the audio go out on an expensive KVM. The only caveat is that to switch between your computers you have two operations. This audio system and your KVM switch.

Great passive audio input switcher
Use this for a classroom setup where I need to route audio from a projector, and audio from a bluetooth receiver to the same set of speakers. This lets me select the input quickly and easily, versus plugging and unplugging cables constantly to accomplish the same goal. Fully passive, so it does not require batteries or other electricity input. Awesome and less to fail that way.
