MARCATO Cutter Crimper 3 Wheels, Red

We ordered this accessory to use along with our Marcato pasta machine and it is very useful! The Italian craftsmanship is amazing, not to mention the fabulous red color.

Nice packaging. I guess it saves a bit of room to have three different "treads" for one tool. I imagined that the heavy zig-zag tread would have a sealing surface which looks more like the "ravioli stamp" tools: pyramidal to increase the footprint for a fatter seal. I think the very high priced brass pasta sealer/cutters have this feature.The price is kind of steep. If I knew exactly what I was getting I probably would have just gotten 3 cheap wheels.

This crimper has been such a time and work saver. I used a fork to crimp ravioli and agnolotti with i make quite often. This utensil does the job in one tenth the time.

I used this product when making raviolis. Cut and crimped great! Didn't have any of the raviolis break open at the crimp, which has happened to me in the past with other crimping products. I would highly recommend!

This thing surprised me in the best way possible. I have the La Gondola cutter as well, but this one cut better than the brass wheel. Super easy to use and lightweight.

The first time you change a ring you discover that you can NOT. It sticks - it won't turn - the screw is bizarre.$35 of completely pathetic design. And I did not discover this until it was too late to return it.
