Contadina Tomato Basil Pizza Squeeze, 15 oz (Pack of 1)

You remember those old pizza lunchables you'd get as a kid? Well that is EXACTLY what this stuff taste like. Not bad, stuff. I actually like the taste compared to some people.I've used it on toast/melts, flour tortia pizza's, cracker dip melts, etc.Literally a nice shortcut when you don't want to open an entire can/jar for a couple of tbs of sauce.So now you know what it taste like: pizza lunchable sauce.So now you know its awesome for those of us who don't 'over sauce' their stuff without forgetting you have an open jar/can with 90% of the sauce in a storage container somewhere in the fridge(had to throw so much out because of that..). These are great for singles and couples without a huge family to feed for a super quick meal.French Roll - Squirt of this stuff - Cheese it - Veg/meats(optional - I often sprinkle with spinach flakes) and bake. Bam easy meal with minimal effort.5* cause i've YET to waste ANY of the sauce or have it go bad before I get to it.. Like canned sauces that after its opened has to be used within 2-3days or it goes bad. Since I don't eat pizza 2-3x(maybe twice a month) a week these are a way way better deal.

My family uses a ton of marinara sauce, and storing after opening is a pain. I bought 2 bottles about 3 weeks ago and we are almost through the 2nd one now. Flavor- the sauce itself is a bit sweet for our tastes, and a bit under seasoned. We add extra Italian seasoning and fresh salt and pepper. It’s very smooth, no chunks of tomato or anything. A bit thinner then I prefer, especially when heated up. Kids love it. Ease of use- the bottle is so freaking perfect. I wish there were more flavor options, but I will buy again purely for the convenience of it.Edit 02/14/23- I went to repurchase this product and the price went from $3.77 to OVER $14 for this product!!! I do not recommend based on cost, there are better options available!!

This is my favorite pizza sauce

I waited almost a month to get the regular Contadina Pizza sqeeze sauce at 5X the cost instead of the claimed "Sweet Tomato Basil" variety....

Great for small pizza I buy the jar use it a few times and have to throw it out because of mold. This is much more economical.

Just a good pizza sauce.

i'm not sure how to describe 'artificial' tomato flavor, i'd say this is closer to a ketchup than a actual sauce, but it's fine for what it is
