Worked great right out of the box.Only disadvantage is the battery door is weak. Broke after one drop on the floor.

Close but not a direct hit.
It will control some of the functions but not all the functions. Personally I wouldn't do it twice. I would look for somthing more compatible!

Not as advertised
The description of the product says it works with the HTR 5930 but in fact this remote ONLY works with these models listed below.Compatible for Yamaha WG70720 RAV300 VS713600 RX-V890 RX-V990 VS71370 RX-V690 AV A/V ReceiverDeceitful practice.
