These beautiful tribal inspired earrings were created with fabric from a kantha quilt. The pieces were sewn together to prevent further fraying. Kantha quilts are made by Bengali women who layer and stitch reclaimed cotton saris together to give them new life. The colors in these recycled kantha quilt pieces were complimented with stone beads. They were finished off with beautiful detailed elephant charms and antique copper earring wires. These earrings have antique copper ear wires and measure bout 2 inches long (from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the piece)
