Pros: Light Weight Easy to Clean Compact with 4*4 Cons: Lid is Useless: If It’s Properly fits then it’s very hard to remove. You will have to use your legs or someone has to help you to detach the lid from Other one. So please keep this in mind if you’re purchasing this.

I bought this 2 times- to use in alternating fashion while the other one sits unwashed in the dishwasher. As other have mentioned the build quality is not great- the metal is thin and buckles, the handles dont feel sturdy, and the plastic screw nut on the column holding the plates feels very cheap, and is small and can be misplaced easily- if for any reason you lose or break it,- you will not be able to get the plates out until the whole things cools down However so far everything is fine over about 10 uses on the first one, and the second one is brand new and still in the box. The flimsy metal body of the cooker probably actually saves on energy because its thin and it heats up faster My biggest issue is with the sticker on the side and the glue thats used (docked one star for that)- how come this company hasnt figured out a way to use better quality sticker- this sticker doesnt not come off easily and you have to take it off piecemeal, and the glue is a nightmare- have a bottle of goo gone nearby and about a half hour of your time to remove this completely

The design of this product is defective. First impression - very light weight. Most importantly the rod that holds the plates together is very small. Check the video I uploaded. After placing the last plate, the black knob does not tighten. If u are placing only 3 plates then it’s ok. It tightens. Basically there is not enough place for the screw to tighten after putting the 4 plate. I immediately put this product for return. It’s of no use if I cannot lift the hot idli stand from cooker.

The idli's come out great! I make sure to oil the pan and have no idli's sticking. My only only complaint is with keeping track of the screws and the rods that hold all the plates together. I wish every pan had it's own handle and I could stack them on each other.
