Q: Are the zip off covers and sleeves for this the same size as the swaddle up zip off ones? In other words, are they interchangeable?

The Self-Soothing Sleeves of the Transition Suit may work with the Transition Bag, however they were not designed for the Transition Bag. The wings and sleeves of the Transition Suit are manufactured at the same time so they are guaranteed to fit that specific Transition Suit perfectly. If you were to try and use the Self-Soothing Sleeves that you own on the Transition Bag, they could either leave a gap due to not enough fabric, or there could be an overlap of excess fabric.

Q: How do you know when your child is ready to transition into the self soothing sleeve? My son 4 months and currently in the swaddle up

Once your little one starts showing signs of rolling - either front to back OR back to front - it is time to transition them to arms-free sleep (or using the Self-Soothing Sleeves). This is for safety reasons that you must transition them.

Q: What does baby wear underneath?

For the Transition Suit 1.0 TOG, rooms that range in temperature from 72-75 degrees we would advise wearing a onesie with pants underneath. If the room is cooler than 72 degrees, a footie pajama set would be advised. Please remember that all babies are different. The number of clothing layers may vary according to a baby's health, their physiology and the room temperature in the room. The care-giver must determine what is suitable.

Q: What is the difference between the 2.5 tog and 1.0 tog?

The 2.5 TOG Transition Suit is going to be more of a quilted fabric designed for cooler temperatures ranging from 61-68 degrees Fahrenheit where the 1.0 TOG is more trans-seasonal and designed for 68-75 degrees Fahrenheit.
