SUNNIMAX clearly states not to leave the canopy up in in inclement weather. We had a surprise rain shower overnight and water collected in the canopy top. A few struts were damaged under the weight of the water. When I contacted Amazon they told me it was a few days past return date, nothing they could or would do about it and were pretty rude about it. I left a negative review and holy smokes Sunnimax themselves reached out to me and made the situation good! I have to say Sunnimax customer service is second to none. Amazon can learn a lot from them.

High quality sunshade that can withstand the blazing Texas summer sun and heat. I got the Khaki color and it's a great color to "blend in" with the trees and outdoor area to not be such an eyesore. I had it up 24/7 for over a month and so far, it has not faded one bit. Set up is a breeze and can be done with one person. Just a few days ago, I had a freak wind gust that blew it off of its base and broke some of the bars, so I reached out to their CS to see if they could help without knowing what to expect. Within less than one day, I got a response and initiated ordering the replacement parts needed to get my canopy back up ASAP. They were very knowledgeable, willing to help, and I am more than satisfied with the level of high quality customer service I received. The parts came in in just a few days via FedEx. We are not enjoying our canopy again and I will be back to buy more products from SunniMax for all of our outdoor canopy needs. Highly recommend!!!!!! Thank you!!

This was purchased as a gift. It arrived in good time, and was set up within the week for a friend, the recipient. We set up in mildly windy weather, with rain forecast. There had been tornado warnings.Once we knew the worst of the weather was past, according to the forecast, was when we set up this canopy. Three other canopies from another company were already set up.What none of us expected was a sudden deluge and more high winds. All the canopies were holding up well until there was a wind shear. One of the canopies upended, despite being well tethered to the ground, and slammed on top of this new canopy. The new canopy collapsed under the weight. It took four of us, in the wind and heavy rain, to remove the older damaged canopy from the new one, and we expected the worst.The new canopy, this product, was bent over but when we lifted it back into an upright position it seemed fine. Two of the ribs were bent (they may in time prove troublesome) and there were slight rends where the wind had tried to pull the canopy from the Velcro attachments, but overall the canopy survived the wind and the slamming of the other canopy on top of it. We were all quite impressed.If this hadn’t been brand new and a gift I would not have written to the company, but it was and I did.The company responded quite quickly and when they learned what happened offered to send a new canopy top. This was also very impressive. On further discussion about how to possibly reinforce the two bent ribs against potential future issues, they decided to send a whole new canopy. This is above and beyond, and we’re all very grateful. This is good customer service.

Very nice tent.

The media could not be loaded.  The construction doesn’t seem sturdy, i was afraid the legs would bend at the next wiff of a wind. But the main problem is that one leg is defective- i can’t extend it because it won’t snap into place. The release button is completely stuck in place. Because of this I can’t use the tent. I didn’t have a chance to test it within the return period and now i can’t return it. I will have to see if i can find a screw to put in place to hold the leg up, with luck it may work…disappointing.

I originally bought this canopy for craft markets in FL. The disrespectful summer heat and summer storms battered the living hell out of this canopy! I contacted customer on the off chance that this palm leaf/ tropical print pattern was available in a hidden corner of their warehouse (it's no longer an available choice online 😞). They responded super quick and found what I needed! The joy that I had to get this printed canopy again! It helps us stand out at markets and makes us easy to find amount the sea of solid colored tents. I'm sticking with this company and secretly hope that I am able to get a few more to keep in stock for when I need a refresher canopy lol. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

This is a sturdy canopy. I put it up for a party and left it up for a couple weeks for shade in my yard. I staked it down on my lawn. We had some pretty good winds and it was fine. The velcro that holds the top on is very strong. When it was going to rain I put it down as far as it can go and took the top off. Good thing I did because we had a big thunderstorm.Canopies are not meant for rain, I needed it for shade. It worked good for shade. Would recommend.You probably need two people to put it up, just like all canopies.
