Works as promised!
I have two of these, each powering an outdoor battery Nest camera. Both are positioned with ample sunlight throughout the day. I bought these so I wouldn't have to climb up on a ladder a few times a year just to recharge my cameras. They have been installed for over a year and I haven't had to touch them once! Full power, live video, all the time. The cost is worth the convenience.

Works Fantastic
The solar chargers work fantastic. I have the google nest battery cameras. I mounted one camera in my driveway about 12 foot high and the 2nd camera on my deck about same height. You need an extention ladder to reach the driveway camera. The last thing i wanted was to get ladder out everytime the cameras needed charged. So after researching a ton I purchased 2 of the 3.5w solar chargers. So my driveway camera charge went fast but that was my fault for having it look at everything lol. So the camera said 3 days charge left but I already ordered the solar chargers so I waited 2 days for them to arrive. They arrived and I installed the solar charger without charging my nest camera. It's been 4 days now and both cameras are staying charged which means this old guy doesn't have to get the ladder out and charge cameras and not have them in place incase something g happens. If I'm going to say anything bad about the product; it's the plastic mounting brackets. They're not horrible but the quality could be better. The plastic is pretty sturdy but definitely not the best. The mounts take 2 screws. The solar panel base does rotate so you can position which way you want the solar panel to face. My garage camera I set to stay so no adjustments ever needed again. My deck I can change angle of solar panel and been moving it around a bit to catch as much sun as possible. All said and done; I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND them. They work fantastic. It's only been 4 days. Remember one of my cameras was 1 day from needing charge and after hooking up the solar i havent needed to charge my cameras.I posted pics of the mounts, like I said, not horrible but could be better. You won't be disappointed with the solar charger.UPDATE: no sun for 3 days now, rainy season is here. Solar panels are still working 100%. Haven't had to charge my cameras since I purchased the solar panels. I'm 100% satisfied.

Time saver
This is such a time saver not to have to take down my outdoor camera to recharge. It was easy to install. Good value for the money and seems to be working fine.

Update - replacement received even though original died outside warranty
Update 10/10/24Well, I’m sorry to say that I forgot to do the update on this. But for good reason… I have now had the replacement up in place for over a year now and I have had zero issues with it. It has constantly maintained the charge on my camera, even through last years winter, where I receive less sunlight up here in Western Washington. I would like to thank the fantastic customer support people for providing me a replacement device that not only fixed the issue, but has outlived the original product. I’m happy to update this review to a five star.Update - 5/28/23-I received a replacement panel from the customer support reps of the product. It has resolved the failed device status and I am upping the review to 3 stars. I will provide additional information in approximately 4 months. That duration of time will be after the original one died.Original review-Easy to install. Used the same brand 2-in-1 gutter mount for the panel, as I already had the camera mounted above my garage. The cable management clips the panel comes with are garbage and I ended up using my own. The panel worked from Jan 31st when it was installed, through May 4th (possibly stopped working earlier).TL:DR - stopped working just outside warranty periodStory time...I had some landscapers doing some work putting bark down in the planters in my back yard. The bark had been delivered to the front driveway, so naturally there was a lot of activity in the driveway where the camera watches. Due to this, the battery in the Nest camera drained much faster than normal."The solar panel must not have been able to charge it as fast as the camera was consuming," I thought. I charged the camera from USB wall power, like I had at least one other time since getting the solar panel. It charged to 100%, I got the notification on my phone that it was full, got out the ladder, reinstalled the camera, and reattached the solar panel cable. When I got down from the ladder, I checked the phone to make sure the viewing angle was good. The camera was showing a battery percentage of 100%. When plugged into solar, (on the iPhone anyway) the app shows an infinity symbol instead of a battery percentage. So for whatever reason, there was no power going to the camera.I got back up on the ladder and made sure the cord was sitting snugly in the port and was in the correct orientation, yep. I then moved the ladder to the panel and made sure there was nothing on it that was blocking sunlight. Looked clean to me. Still no power. It's a simple device. Not much for an end user to mess up. Panel points towards sun, attached cord plugs into camera. It is unacceptable that a device with no moving parts, designed to sit and absorb sunlight all day, could fail so quickly.I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the failure of the Wasserstein solar panel for my Nest camera. Despite following all the instructions (as limited as they were) and ensuring that everything was installed correctly, the panel failed and is no longer charging the camera battery... just outside of its warranty period, too. This cost me not only the money spent on the panel and mount but also my time and effort in installing it. Now, I am left with the options of either paying someone to run a cord into my garage and install a new outlet or going back to manually charging the camera every so often.

Works great. Stupid cord design.
Working for a year now in the full hot Florida sun -- all day long. But it annoys me to no effin' end that the camera connector end is angled OUTWARDS so to create an ugly bulge when I try to clamp the cord along my pergola rafter. What in the royal eff is this for? Can anyone suggest one where the cord is angled BACK so that it flows better -- or at worst, is straight down?Would have been a 5 star review but minus 1 star for stupid cord connection design.

Solves the recharging problem
I was tired of recharging my Google cameras and didn’t want to hard wire them to the house. These panels solved the problem. It took a little for them to get up to speed, I had to recharge manually a few times until the solar panels were fully up to speed.Haven’t had to charge since because the panels are in full sunlight most of the day.

Easy Install and Great price
Great price for a 3-pack and is easy to install. This product is great for the outdoor nest camera and prevents you from having to run a lot of wiring around just to keep it plugged in. I have had them installed for a week now and have run into no issues. I hope that this product can last me for many years before I have to replace it.
