Works fine
The first night I used it, by 3 AM, the strap had already stretched out of shape and the unit was coming off my head. Alos, there is NO adjustment on the straps, that's stupid, if it was adjustable, I could have made it fit, instead, it went tinto the trash can. UPDATE.... After the first night, I decide to look closer at the straps and I did find that there was velcro, so I was wrong at the first comment, it is adjustable, and I am still using it.

Either a cheap knockoff or breathworks changed to cheaper quality
UPdate: I ordered the Breathwear Halo strap from the Breathwear website to compare the differences. The one I received from Amazon is definitely not a Breathwear. It came in a clear plastic bag and has no markings on it, and quality is clearly sub-par. The one I received today from Breathwear came packaged in breathwear logo'd plastic, and has a clear and distinct Breathwear markings on the chin strap. Not sure why Amazon is allowing this to be labeled as a Breathwear Halo Strap. I've had several BreatheWear chin straps over the past several years that I bought from Amazon. They have been comfortable and effective compared to other chin straps. However, this last purchase I received was not the same as the others I have purchased. It looks like a cheap immitation, and does not feel or perform like what I am used to. There are no markings on the strap, whereas my others all had the BreatheWorks name on it. If in fact these are knock-offs, then I would not risk buying one. I'm now looking at cpap supply sites to try and find the authentic ones. Prices are higher, but I'm willing to pay it to get authentic.

This is a great chin strap
This is a great chin strap. I feel that it provides great vertical support in keeping my mouth shut while also not sliding off my head without some effort to pulling it off. The straps on the sides lie in front of my ears. I tried the Premium Chinstrap by Phillips Respironics. This is the next best chinstrap for me but I like that this one better because it is thinner and will lie in front of my ears. The Premium chinstrap ends up over my ears in order for me to get a good snug fit. When you put this chinstrap on for the first time you will really appreciate how it stays in place and does not slide forward or backwards very easily. I put this on first and then I put my Air Fit P10 nasal pillow mask over top of it. I like putting this chinstrap on first and then the nasal pillow mask goes on after. I like just having to put the nasal pillow on and off during the night. Having to do both is just something I prefer not to deal with during the night. If I had to recommend an improvement, it would be to increase the length of the straps you use to tighten on each side. When on my head, it would be easier to grab and pull these straps if they were just a little bit longer. Maybe, I have a big head. I never thought I had a such a big head. I always thought I had a medium size head since I require medium size headgear for most CPAP masks that I have used in the past. I highly recommend this chinstrap. If you have a bigger head than me ... I believe you would recommend increasing the length of the straps you use to tighten on each side. Otherwise, this chinstrap could be too small for you.

Would Like A Bit Stiffer
I use a nasal pillow for my CPAP but would wake up sometimes with a really dry mouth as my jaw would relax and slightly open and air would come out. This would be an easy fix and the price is right. My only complaint is that the fabric is a bit too stretchy and my mouth can still hang open a crack. Now I realize that it was probably designed that way for comfort and it does work for me about 80% so it is a good value and comfortable.

Excellent, light weight strap that's easy to adjust.
I've been using Halo style straps since I started wearing a CPAP mask and had previously purchased my straps via my medical supply facility that services my CPAP machine up until I moved to a different state. My current medical supply facility does not carry this style strap and sold me a different strap that I do not like at all. This Halo strap like others has a slot on either side of the head strap where the chin strap loops thru and attaches to itself via Velcro. Once the chin step is adjusted to the size of you head your done unless or until the staps weaken and require more tension to keep your mouth closed at night. Getting in and out of the strap at night is a piece of cake as you just put it on and get it properly positioned. In my opinion, this strap is light weight, not hot, and doesn't interfere with my mask My only complaint with this stype strap is that over time It will stretch and after a year or two you'll be unable to get enough tension on the chin strap to hold it in place requiring you to order another strap. Nothing lasts forever so I ordered two straps this time so I can quickly replace the old one when the first one wears out. I highly recommend this product.

This is a pretty chintzy product and it wasn't that cheap
This is a pretty chintzy product and it wasn't that cheap. I tried it for a couple of nights and it just wasn't doing the job. It kept sliding around and coming out of position and didn't keep my chin up. It looks more rugged than it actually is. I have a normal size face so it wasn't due to having a larger face or head. If that was were the case I believe this would even be less effective. I have always used Topaz Adjustable Chin Strap and will go back to that brand. The Topaz works well, but I was hoping to find a strap that would last a little longer.

Quite painful if it touches your ears overnight
I have been using this for several weeks. It took some time to find the right strength that would keep my mouth closed and not cause too much pain, but that is the nature of any head strap. Unfortunately with this one the location of the strap goes quite close, and sometimes over, the ears. I adjust at night to try to keep it away from the ears but in my sleep I guess it moved. I woke up one morning with a terrible pain and huge water blister where the strap had caught my ear. I'm going to look for more comfortable straps.

Halo Chinstrap by BreatheWear
I am new to using a CPaP machine. 2 November 2016 was my first night with the ResMed AirSense10 AutoSet. I'm using the Swift FX nose pillows which are awesome! I have never been one to sleep with my mouth open but after my first night with my CPaP, I awoke to the driest throat/mouth ever! I immediately went to my home medical store and reported my problem; upon which time they game me a chin strap. Ugh! Didn't work and after 3 nights of the worst dry throat/mouth combo and having to readjust the chin strap due to slipping, I searched on Amazon. I found this Halo Chinstrap and decided to give it a try. It seemed to take forever to arrive because I was suffering but in actuality it took about 7 days. So excited when it finally arrived! I have been using it now for a couple of weeks and I am very satisfied with the results! I've only had a couple of small incidents of "choking" on my saliva but that's from getting use to the CPap and not the halo chinstrap. The halo chinstrap allowed for (sorry this is gross) my saliva to exit my mouth without having to remove the strap to regain my level of comfort. It hand-washed beautifully using Ivory dish soap and air drying! I had to adjust the Velcro strips quite a bit to fit my face but it is very comfortable and does not leave impressions nor does it interfere with my ability to communicate, breath, or sleep. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best thing since PB & J! I plan to order at least 1 more if not 2 because when I find something that works, I want extra's on hand because I hate change! I highly recommend this halo chinstrap! However, if your face is very small to small, you might have to make some hand sewn adjustments. My face is round and fat LOL and I have the straps pulled as far as they will go. J/S Other than that . . . it's perfect for me!!!
