Been refilling my aquarium water cartridges with this. It works really well and have saved quite a bit already. Doesn't seem to last as long as the OeM media, but damn good for the cost to lose a few gallons between swaps.

If you own an RODI unit, first make sure you have a canister on it to do refills. Second, use this DI media for replacement refills. Easy use, color changes to let you know when it needs replacing. WAY cheaper and convenient than purchasing a new cartridge each time. Just remember, save the filter pads inside your existing cartridge.

TDS after 5 minuets of run it was at 0 TDS will buy again

I use it for washing my overpriced vehicles. Its really the only way to wash a black truck and not have to worry about water spots. I noticed a few people complain about the mylar bag having a hole in it. What these folks failed to mention is the resin was sealed in 5 other bags inside that bag. I personally have not seen any other place take the time to do that. As far as longevity of the product. Its probably the best resin or at least just as good as any top brand resin you will buy. Ive washed my very large truck and suv several times (complete wash) and still getting zero tds without a prefilter. For the quality and quantity its a good deal to me.

Smells clean, looks clean, and it left me with 0TDS! There’s a good amount in the bag, so one is definitely enough for any standard RO system

Keeping my tanks in clean deionized water is the goal of the hobby. I only took a star away because when I ripped this open I spilled half of it down my sink and had to take it apart to remove the resin. The product does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I use this for my 180g saltwater tank. The color changing resin lasts as long as expected for my particular setup (1 sediment filter, 2 carbon filters, 2 resins). I measure the water quality going into the resin and coming out of the res with an inline dual TDS PPM monitor. I already know that the tap water coming into filters needs help so I don't bother to measure the PPM coming into the system, only what is leaving the filters stage. This helps me to know if I need to change the filters or if I need to change the resin. For the quantity and pricing, I find this to be of value. Side Note - it comes packaged in two resealable bags, plus inside a sealed light blocking bag. I use a vacuum sealer to reseal the light blocking bag to retain the resin moisture and store it in a closet. This prolongs the life of the unused resin.

I was surprised by the number of layers of vacuum packed layers this came in. It seems to do what it says it does. Pretty hard to handle/pour into the RO tube it goes in to but that is the nature of the product. Update: After using this product I have found that it does not last very long. After about 25 - 30 gallons the item begins to have a very strong odour. The colour change happens after abouut 20 - 25 gallons. This is in the Aquatic Life RO Buddie Four Stage Reverse Osmosis System. When I originally purchased it this was not intollerable. SInce then the price has more than doubled which makes this an extremely poor investment.

This works wonders with the Aquatic Life RO Buddie.
