Q: Would this float or sink if dropped in water? Would this be suitable for a child to use leaning over a kayak edge?

It floats pretty well as long as it doesn't completely fill up with water. And it's perfect for kids who wanna see underwater stuff over a small boat/kayak. Also great for tide pools
