Q: Sensitive enough for alow powered tube amp? 3.5wpc class A?

Highly doubt it unless it's a near field desktop setup. You'll need something more sensitive for such a low wattage, especially if you want any kind of low end (which these speakers are lacking already)

Q: What connection does it use

These are passive wired speakers meaning they do not have onboard amplification and must be wired to an external amplifier such as a Home Theater Receiver. There are two ways to wire the speaker. 1) Bare wire using the binding posts no the back of the speaker. 2) Banana Plugs inserted into the binding posts. You must make sure polarity is the same for both speakers to ensure that the sound is optimal.
