Q: How are the backdrops connected to the box? velcro? hooks? magnets? how difficult would it be to make more in different colors?

There are hooks built into the box that the backdrops connect to. It would be super easy to create additional backdrops. The only drawback to this box is that the LED lights are in the front which causes a shadow behind the product. However, there is a space at the top of the box for additional lighting that would prevent the shadowing.

Q: Does this studio led light strip and usb socket fall off easily?

Please be assured that we have greatly improved the stability of the light bar and USB socket. This is an upgrade edition, so please don't worry about the previous problems.

Q: Just want to make sure that this is the "up dated version". Am I correct?

Yes. You can tell it's updated because it has snaps instead of magnets on the side to put it together and it comes with green, red, black and white backdrops instead of just black and white.

Q: Can you fit a pair of shoes in there?

Yes, the assembled size is 16 * 16 * 16 inches
