Secure!
I had problems with bird knocking down the bird feeders. These secure them so the bird cannot knock them off the hooks. Have to see how long they last outside. Time will tell but so far so good!

outdoor use
I'm using the hooks for my bunting. It's a little hard to screw them into the wooden hand rail, but after a complete turn no problem.
