My wife and I appreciate the detail in this book. Helps to keep our finances on track. We’ve used this for years now. Very happy.

What I don't like about it - The 2 pages that are Sample pages are exactly the same. Both pages are for Days 1-16 instead of 1 page Days 1-16 & the other page Days 17-31 with totals. The majority of the book is Expense Journal (Tax Preparation, Investments, Insurance/Health expenses, Home improvement projects) I'd rather have 2 years of monthly budgeting instead of the Expense Journal. Maybe I'll find some use for the Journal. The Utilities are combined on 2 lines instead of individually. Line 5 is Electricity/Gas & Line 6 is Sewer/Water/Trash. They should all be individual lines. What I like - The boxes are a good size for me to write in. Some people would like the boxes bigger but then the whole book would have to get bigger. I like the size of the book. The Misc line & 3 blank lines to add your own expense. This is probably the first book I seen that pretty much already has detailed expenses added. All the other budget books have vague expenses or not detailed enough. I will use the last 3 months of 2015 to have a specific budget for 2016. With the holidays coming up that could be challenging b/c of the added expenses in those months. I like the book enough that I might buy another one to start 2016 at the beginning of the book.

Love these - I’ve been logging my expenses in this for the past 10 years, and anytime I try a different one, I always go back to this one.

This is extremely helpful in keeping yourself on budget. Easy to do and keep yourself in check.

I love everything about this helpful budget planner! I always order 2 at a time so that I don't have a lapse in months if I forget to order--and I like to gift them to people who are just starting to keep track of expenses. The layout is really helpful in laying out priorities and looking at possibilities to increase savings. Even though online accounting is helpful, there's a benefit for me to be able to pick up the book whenever I need to check on something and not end up going down any cyber rabbit holes like I might if I had to go online.
