Life changing!
Ok life changing may be an exaggeration but really, this dip system is the greatest!! My nails grow super fast but are weak and thin, and my job as a bartender is incredibly hard on them so growing my nails past my fingertips was pretty much impossible. Once I got any kind of length I'd inevitably break one and have to cut them all down to match. I've tried nail strengtheners, gel, etc and nothing has worked as well or has been as convenient as this dip. For details, read on! So at the recommendation of a friend, I got this base, the clear powder (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTYI9IM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1) and the seal (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LBID4W0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and my nails have never looked better! I do a layer of this base, dip into the powder, wait a few minutes for it to dry, brush off any extra with a clean makeup brush, do another layer of the base and the dip, wait for it to dry, brush off the extra then apply the seal. I wipe with alcohol, file any irregularities down, apply another layer of seal, then apply whatever nail polish I want over it. On me it lasts about a week before I've destroyed at least a nail or two and I'm ready to remove but I'd imagine on someone with a job that doesn't beat the crap out of their hands it would last much longer. On occasion I will fill in a spot that I have managed to break which is super easy. Just remove the polish with non acetone remover, apply the base to the bald spot and do the same process above, then file down the area until it's even and repaint. The nail will look brand new. I have these for removal (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018QN8V9O/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I cut cotton balls in half, soak them in acetone and apply them to my nails for about 20 minutes. I'll use a hair dryer to speed up the process if I am in a hurry as the heat activates the acetone. Then I slide the clips off my hands and the dip comes right off. I have used gel in the past but no matter what I did, the gel would be a struggle to remove and I'd always find myself having to aggressively file off pieces that refused to come off, even after soaking for 30+ minutes and the gel always managed to damage a nail or two which would result in breakage. It was also a lot easier to end up with uneven or thick nails with the gel, but with this dip any irregularities you end up with can just be filed away. My first application of this dip system was in mid January (the purple polish) and so far there has been no damage as a result of the dip. I have managed to break part of the tip of one nail which had to be cut down and the side of my thumb despite having dip on, but that was the fault of my job, not the the fault of the dip (and with the help of some acrylic tips and IBD resin from Sally's, you'd never know the difference!). So the purple nail pic (ILNP Zoe for anyone interested) was my original application of the dip and is the length I'm usually stuck with. You can see the progression of growth, the bright pink (ILNP Pucker Up) being the most recent at 6 weeks after the original dip application. I've yet to attempt to fill in growth which is probably very easy to do but removal is so easy I'd rather just start clean every time and dark colors do stain the dip so when going from a dark to light color it's better just to remove the dip completely and start new. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading my novel! Just cannot say enough good things about this dip. Buy it!!

This stuff is the greatest. I used to use another the Mia Secret ...
This stuff is the greatest. I used to use another the Mia Secret brand of base and it would always come up or loosen in the middle of the second week. I would have to redo my nails or apply glue a this point. However, this stuff right here. I mean I am very rough, I hand wash dishes and I always slam my fingers in something and this stuff holds. This is my second go round and I can were these for three weeks or longer. It just depends on the growth of my nails. I will not ever use another product.

Works well! Try Storing a Dark Place!
Works beautifully to put gems on (: Mine came in brand new condition and nothing was wrong with the bottle. I was afraid it might break like other reviews but I'm thinking it's because this has Polymethyl Methylacrylate which is sensitive to light and might not cure completely with regular room lighting, but it can definitely start the process. You do need a UV light to cure this completely and it takes 60 seconds for me on a 13$ Amazon light. I'm keeping it in a dark place when I'm not using it and I'll update this if anything happens. P.s. Im not a nail expert, just a nail enthusiest. This works for my purposes.

Kiara Sky Professional Nails Dip Liquid Essentials Step 2 Base for Dip Powder Manicure
I am not a pro, but I am not a novice either and have been doing my own nails with great success for most of my adult life. I will continue to practice with Kiara Sky, but probably will not buy again due to the cons. Pros: There is no odor. The price point is reasonable. It is very easy to file once all steps have been done. Cons: The brushes are not very good at holding the liquid, so it causes uneven application. I found that I had to overload the brush with base liquid to get a more even application, but then it was too much product which created thick nails. Trying to use thinner coats cost me seconds so the product would dry in small spots, so no matter what, I had uneven application. I believe this would be a good product if not for the brushes.

Love this stuff, my nails stay on for weeks
I used to use the single use nails glues for my fake press ons, never again. I use this bond with the #1 base from the same brand and it’s so easy to use. My nails stay healthy underneath and I’m always shocked by how long my nails last. I’m still perfecting the process so that’s why I have excess glue on my cuticles, BUT this stuff works and I recommend the #1 base as well.

Treat her well!
This is my second time buying the bottle. *WARNING* please be careful and attentive when you use this product! It’s super stick and would be a hassle to clean up. Also, if you can, try to wipe off your bottle before putting it back after doing a set. If you get the dip powder on the bottle or even anywhere near the rim, IT WILL DRY THE BOTTLE SHUT. that’s why I’m buying a second bottle. I broke the last bottle trying to open it and it was just a hot mess. Just take care of your products ❤️

3 used then it was bad
When I got it it was very thick and goopy. It did not lay flat on the nail but was like trying to use a type of slim. With a lot of filing I did manage to have finished nail. And I will say it held well. But when I went to use it for a third day less then a month after I opened it the brush broke off from the lid and got stuck. Being stubborn I tried to get the lid off. The bottle ended up breaking and I had to throw it all away. Was suck a waste of money to only be able to use it three times and it was extremely difficult to work with for the start.

Spare Bottle of Base is a Must!
I always keep a spare bottle of the base. One day I sat down to do my nails and my bottle of base was completely thickened up and unusable. My fault because you should always keep your brush clean of powder but who wants to do that and lengthen the time it takes to do your nails. I try to remember to switch the base brush with the brush cleaner brush after I’m done but I don’t always. So keep a spare bottle of base at all times. Totally worth the money.
