Q: What size is the drill bit?

Hi, the drill bit is 3/16". This is a good question and we will update our description to make it more clear. Thank you.

Q: the hole the bit makes seems too small for the screws to be driven into, so tight seems like it will brake off if I continue to try, any suggestions?

Just drill the hole a couple of times to make sure all of the concrete comes out and it’s cleaned out. May want to use some canned air to blow dust out. When setting the screw use a power drill at maximum setting and be sure to use right bit for screw head. You can also back out the screw and drill the hole a little bit deeper and reset again. It’s a little tedious but the screw should set tight and secure. Hope this helps.

Q: Will it work well for concrete block garage wall shelving brackets? i need them to hold a lot of weight. probably a 200-300lbs. the brackets 450lb.

The screws would hold fine but if your going into hollow block your might have to use butter fly wings to hold the inside of the hollow block

Q: What size ace bit is it thanks.

The drill but is about the size of the skew the bit is like 2 or more inches and can be used after for other projects
