Elephant Garlic 2 Huge Bulbs! Great for Fall Planting! Non GMO Milder Tasting Garlic by Daylily Nursery

We needed to supplement our elephant garlic crop for this fall's planting and decided to give this seller a shot. These heads were huge, each weighing just over one pound. Eight large, beautiful cloves per head. They arrived quickly and were in perfect condition - no damage, no bruises, no mold. Keep in mind that these were ordered in the fall, so were from this year's harvest and had not been sitting around for many months. Ordering bulbs in the spring means they have been overwintered in storage, and you will get what you get. If you have ever kept summer/fall harvested garlic in a root cellar and looked at it come spring, you know what I mean. Even so, these were really, really nice heads, even when compared to other garlic bulbs we purchased from farms that specialize in alliums. Will definitly look at what this seller has to offer next spring.

Ordered two packs of two.. came quickly and safely packaged/no damage. Large cloves promptly planted in fall. All have sprouted and have lived thru the extreme cold. Looking forward to 22 Bulbs in late spring. I bought same year before and let grow x 2 years. Should be spectacular, we gring our own and keep in olive oil- fresh from garden you cant beat it.!!

The bulbs look great and the size of the bulbs are huge.

I believe I paid $14.00 dollars for 2 heads of elephant garlic.... I don't think it is worth that...... More like $8.00

Growing like weeds over the winter! So looking forward to having garlic!

2 garlic bunches were sent and one is completely rotten and not usable. The other seems dry and smells but not rotten like the other as far as I can tell but the smell is what I'm concerned about this even taking root if planted. This garlic cost almost 20.00 and not happy that it came in the condition it came in. I would rate it ZERO stars if I could. Buyer BEWARE!

Planted in fall 2024 as recommended. So far as of March 2025 I only see 3 coming up out of the ground. I’ll update if more come out. I’d say that if I can get 3 then it was well worth it because I originally got 2 for planting. Where I live it reached the negatives and single digits in some parts of the winter.

Got 2 Elephant Garlic bulbs. One bulb gave me 4 cloves, second gave me 5. Reading other reviews I suppose it depends on the time of year as to how many cloves per bulb you get.
