Q: Will drivers work with Windows 10?

There are drivers for windows 10. You may want to consider Agilent 82357B HIGH-Speed USB2.0/GPIB if you already have software . In other word, if your old computer controlled a GPIB instrument and now you've been forced to switch to windows 10 and the instruments software runs, but no GPIB port on the PC, the agilent 82357 will probably be easier to implement.

Q: I'm thinking on get this converter to connect my laptop to a HP8753. I will use a software called IntuiLink developed by HP to do it. Will it work ?

The GPIB controller works well with the free software utilities available online, running a HP8720 under Windows 7 in a VM (VMware Fusion). I am not familiar with the HP software - perhaps HP/Agilent can answer your question best?

Q: I don't know much about communication but want to read output from a waters 486 detector. do i need to install drivers other than for this controller?

Don't know the unit you mention, but you almost always need a driver that sets up the right GPIB commands for your specific device. The manufacturer of your unit may have them for download. The Prologix just converts from USB to GBIP format.

Q: Will this control multiple daisy chained devices?

It depends on the control scheme of the downstream device. The adapter itself has one USB port and one GPIB port though, so in its most basic setup it will only connect to a single GPIB device.
