Great. But how to get the excel forms?

If you are building a house, having one built or even doing a commercial takeoff for the first time, this book is a life savor! I purchased this book to help me on a project for a construction management class I was taking. We had to do a full take off and estimate of a building. This book was extremely helpful and the check list inside provided lots of help in deciding what jobs will fall under each trade.

As a contractor this book was very insightful and the excel and checklist were very helpful. This book in my opinion is more for larger commercial jobs rather then residential but still very knowledgeable.

This book is incredible it comes with absolutely everything you can imagine from the start of estimating to the very end on how to close the contract so happy with my purchase! My favorite part is that is comes with examples!!

Did not have the info that I was looking for. It was not the book I was looking for. It did not give sq. footage prices, which is one of the details I was looking for. I wish I had a better review of the book before I had purchased it. I does have some good info, but not was I was looking for.

I have been trying to start my own little business on the side and I never knew how to create bids or understand how to estimate until now. This book is very helpful with listing, cost, the break on how to charge and etc. I just bought the dewalt forms and letters that comes with a cd of examples. Awesome. These two go hand and hand.

I got this book because I was thrown into an estimating position and honestly had no idea what I was doing and this book is AMAZING. Teaches me everything I need to know. I am excited to bid my next project using this book!!!!

good book. Got it for my son at UNLV. Saved a lot by purchasing it on line instead of the campus book store.
