Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen 4x4 USB Audio Interface Bundle with Headphones and 2 XLR Cables (3 Items)

After several attempts I settled with this and I couldn’t be happier. I grabbed a cloud lifter and now my sound is crystal clear

1) The silly USB drive that appears when you plug it in will not go away (and the device will not function fully) until you install the drivers from the website. You don't need to register, look for the "just give me my files" link.2) To make channels 3+4 accessible on Windows, right click on the systray icon for the drivers (F) and pick "Expose/Hide Windows Channels."3) It looks like this seller just includes whatever headphones they can get on a given week. Currently they're "KnoxGear", and are without question the worst headphones I've used in my life. This is still $30 less than buying the device itself from a small local shop, as I should have done if my conscience had won that fight.

I previously had a Focusrite 4i4 first generation that I could not get to work with a new computer I bought (I could not get the software loaded). So, I purchased a MOTU M4 because of the reputed superb sound quality and the layout of the front panel. However, I could not resolve the latency issue when recording guitars and/or bass guitar no matter how I set the sample rate and bit depth. So, I finally gave up and purchased this 4i4 generation 3. Very easy set up, no latency issues and terrific sound quality. I could not be happier. I would recommend this interface to any home studio enthusiast looking for a low cost high quality piece of equipment.

Great amplification. Clear sound. I combined it with a Cloudlifter to provide clean boost to my Shure SM7B. The interface (software) takes a little getting used to. But, once you understand it, all runs smoothly. I'm currently using Pro Tools to record and edit. I've also got Sennheiser HD 300 PRO headphones plugged into the headphone jack. Finally, I'm running a pair of JBL C2P monitors for a nice desktop setup. It's all powered by the Focusrite Scarlet 4i4.

Estaba esperando con ansias a que llegara. Es exactamente lo que esperaba. Estoy empezando a armar un estudio en casa y pienso que es la mejor opción calidad/precio que pude elegir. Ya realizé las primeras pruebas y me ha agradado bastante el resultado. Y eso que todavía no me ha llegado un micrófono de estudio que pedí. Así que estoy seguro que el resultado será aún mejor cuando haga las pruebas con éste. Excelente compra. Recomiendo ésta interfaz de audio.
