Taye DrumsBA55 Convertible Cymbal Stand

It isn't a stand, it's a convertible arm that connects to a stand. We needed both parts. The word stand in the description is deceiving. Returned this product, because we didn't have a stand for it. So the product might be just fine, but we wouldn't know because we couldn't use it.

This convertible cymbal stand is not very sturdy and still seems to have a fair amount of play when tightened down. I don't have too much confidence this thing will hold up very long, but the price was cheap enough, but if you want something sturdy, I would look for something else.

This is a heavy duty stand, and seems to be good quality. My only complaint, and this may be due to me not being a drummer and not familiar with the equipment jargon, as I would be if it were guitar gear, is I was expecting a full stand (base included) when I purchased this for my son. Luckily he had enough stand parts laying around to still put it to use. He picked it out, so I don't know if it is what he was expecting or if he just rolled with it and made it work. But I figured I would point out to others, this does not include a base.

Works perfectly. People are complaining that this isn't a full stand...that's because it is only the top part of the stand— it is designed to be added to a special mount that comes on the bass drums of some kits. For example, I have this attached to the bass drum mount on my Limited Edition Taye RockPro 6-piece and it works beautifully. I can understand how some people would be confused as to what this is, but it is a very specific accessory that only true drummers would know about. So if you are looking for a solid bass drum cymbal mount, look no further.

This is probably a great product, but my son has to return the item because it can't stand alone. This stand doesn't have a base.

its just the arm part. the pole and base is not included. don't be fooled thinking its a whole stand like I was.

excelent product its easy to carrier and very light, it can stant very heavy cymbals like 18" with no problems!! very recomended its very usefull to your gigs!!
