It's a lightbulb, it levitates, it glows. No dark magic required!
My wife got me this for my birthday (ok.... she told me to get myself something, maybe I bought it) and it's awesome! Sure, all it is is a little light bulb that floats, but it looks fantastic on my desk and is a great conversation starter. Plus, it's an excellent source of ambient light if you turn it on. If you give it a little nudge, it will spin for hours. It's been working with no issues for the past 8 months straight, so it's got build quality.

Very Impressive Quality & Stablility
Physically the base weighs a hefty 19.5 oz on a beam balance scale. It feels solid. The bulb is 3.5 oz. Each unit contains a very strong permanent magnet. My magnetometer measured the total electric field 60 mm away from the devices with the base reading 30 Gauss, and the bulb reading 23 Gauss. (Closer than 60 mm apart overloaded my magnetometer). A junk box magnetic coil connected to a spectrum analyzer picked up a 181.5 kHz "clean" component with harmonics at least 40 dB down. An oscilloscope shows a dominant 3.22 MHz sine wave. The performance is very stable. One can tap the bulb in action and it will smooth out and remain levitating. There is an on/off capacitance switch to turn the bulb on and off, although I leave mine on. The bulb stays levitated regardless if the light is on or off. I find it fun to play around with the switch. The unit comes with a 12 Volt 1.0 Amp Max wallwart, so the total power draw from the wall is probably less than 10 Watts. During usage I had a power fail, and by design the bulb will stay on the platform after it falls. There is no danger of it rolling off the base onto the floor. I have designed and built several optical levitators before, but they had a tendency to "fall" if a room light was switched on or off. This product's design doesn't rely on light beams, just magnetic fields. I find it interesting that the eddy currents don't stop the bulb from rotating. After I spin it, it never seems to stop. When it does stop, it may slowly change to the other direction, and switch directions with whatever forces spin it- air currents, infrared, my dog farting, whatever. Nice product.

Mesmerizing levitating lamp
This lamp is mesmerizing to watch and the quality is excellent. It is easy to get the bulb centered so it levitates with minor practice, the base buzzes and the lights flicker then you let go and it floats. The coolest thing since the Levitron, which was not easy to balance. The one touch button works great, and the light can be left on all night if you choose, because it runs cool. The bulb seems regular size and emanates a soft yellow light as seen in the photos.

Excellent item of wonder.
This was a gift, and they keep it in their living room. it is really interesting to see this light bulb appear to defy gravity and gently spin while giving off a gentle mild light glow, without wires. (A great show of progress from the 1900's to current day). I would recommend this to anyone that can appreciate this light for what it is. It can make a person think. Thumbs up on this gift.

Mesmerizing Floating Lamp – A Showstopper!
This levitating lamp is an absolute gem! I placed it on my bookcase as a decorative piece, and it instantly became the center of attention. The floating bulb effect is magical and gives off a warm, ambient glow. It adds a touch of futuristic charm without being over the top. Everyone who sees it compliments it — it’s truly a conversation starter. Sleek, modern, and beautifully crafted. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their space!

Super cool
I have this on my office desk where customers can see it. And it is -really- hit and miss for some reason. People either look right past it, or entirely obsess over it. There's a switch to turn the bulb on and off, and it floats regardless. I'm assuming it works on the same kind of tech that wireless phone chargers do. Getting the bulb into the right position is a little finicky, especially because the magnets are reasonably strong. But definitely doable. As some have noted, it does not cast a lot of light. But anyone that thinks it should is silly, and I encourage them to think about how few things get powered wirelessly. Not wireless data transmission, but actually providing power to something. It's actually amazing this works at all. Even your phone has to be directly on a charging pad to charge. I've had it on for several weeks, no issues so far. Also interesting, the bulb has a tendency to start spinning and not ever stop spinning. I don't think it's intended to that, but it adds to the effect. Well worth the money. It does not seem particularly fragile, but I also don't recommend dropping it. The bulb is the size of a regular light bulb.

Mesmerizing and Functional Decor!
This levitating bulb lamp is an absolute conversation starter and a beautiful addition to any space! The magnetic floating mechanism is pure magic—it feels like something out of a sci-fi movie. Watching the bulb effortlessly float and spin in mid-air never gets old, and the warm LED light creates a cozy ambiance, perfect for a desk or nightstand. Beyond its stunning design, the lamp is surprisingly functional. The lighting is gentle on the eyes, making it ideal for reading or working. Setting it up was easier than I expected, and the quality feels premium with a sturdy base and seamless floating effect. If you're looking for a unique and stylish piece that combines technology with aesthetic appeal, this levitating bulb lamp is a must-have. It’s not just a lamp—it’s art that lights up your room! Please notice that bulb will not levitate if power is not applied - it will drop to the pedestal. So best mode of operation if you want to switch it off - take bulb from the air first.
