Q: Can this connect to a wall outlet instead of a floor outlet?

It doesn’t connect to an outlet. It has a weighted base and sits on the floor, your cables come out the bottom then plug wherever you need them to plug. It works amazing.

Q: What if I have a metal desk?

Q: are the blocks able to hold power/network cables? slot looks kinda small.

It’s a little tight getting them in there but yes. I have a small power strip mounted under my desk and it has a larger gauge cord than a normal power cord and it went in.

Q: I have a sit stand desk with 1 cable to the wall and 1 cable leading to the subwoofer on the floor. Will this work not bolted in and w/o base?

Hello! Thank you for your question! It may be possible to use the middle flexible portion of the cable organizer without the top and bottom portion, however, we do not recommend it.
