Q: Is there a way to fold it up when not in use without having to unstick it from the window (so I can close my blinds at night)?

I just took the 2 bottom tubes off of the cups so i.could close my blinds. Works fine

Q: Do the suction cups actually stay? I feel like they never quite stick right on any product using them.

This has been on my window for a couple months now with 2 10lb cats sitting on it every day and it’s still up with no signs of unsticking! The suction cups are HUGE and seem very secure. One tip I used is to wet the suction cups just slightly before sticking and they will stay better. Still, I have it positioned right over my bed so if it were to ever fall in the future with my cats on it, they wouldn’t have far to fall.
