Q: Since the top riser is 3.1 inches, is the depth of all three set up 9.3?

The depth depends on the size of the items you are placing. If you cupcakes are smaller I would say the depth is more like 10 versus 12 or so with wider cupcakes or products.

Q: I didn't get the second stand I ordered... what should I do about this?

You can put about 14 -15 cupcakes on each half-round, 3 tier stand, then I put more on the table in front of the bottom shelf. so altogether maybe 40-ish? Regular size cupcakes with covers that go around the paper cup.

Q: Would it be possible to hook 2 of them together to make a round display that would hold cupcakes on the bottom tiers & a small round cake on the top?
