CantuShea Butter Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream 12 ounce (Pack of 9)9

I have bought it recently in June 2020. Have been using it a couple of times now.CONS:1. It's thick. Like really really thick.2. Easy to apply but it's greasy after a few hours just like oil.3. But we have to use both a leave-in conditioner and curling cream quite a few weeks4. On using, Cantu leave-in conditioner alone itself my natural curls were defined. On normal regular days, shampooing and conditioning and after shower leave-in conditioner is enough.5. When its defining, all pluminess and volume that we usually have is gone. like, poof. The hair is soft and all but there is a reduction in the original volume. but I only air-dried. It might be because of that too but not sure. Am okay with all the cons except the volume reduction.PROS:1. The curling cream really really defines the curls and it would work better if we use a diffuser to dry our hair.2. Even a small plump gives so much product. So its everlasting one. I saw a review that would last for over a year.3. Money wise - The product is worth the money we spend.4. The best PRO - is the smell... Woah, it has an amazing smell but its strong. if you reduce the quantity or apply in small layers then the smell lasted till 3 days, my next hair wash.. but it became greasy by then. Would recommend only to use occasionally.

Bought this one to try when the one i am used to discontinued, I loved it and it exceeded my expectations, the product smells devine and your hair will smell nice for days, the consistency is thick though and a bit goes a long way, I used a bit too much and my hair took longer to feel normal but once it fully dried it gave the best curls/waves ever. Plz don't discontinue this as I am planning to stock up on it.

I’ve only used this a couple of times. I notice a reduction in frizz but can’t say it is completely gone. The smell is amazing. It can leave a bit of a cast on the hair if too much is applied which will disappear in a few hours after applying. I need see ways to use it as I have read online that it’s amazing for curly hair.

I am so happy with this product. It has really defined my curls and frizzyness is so less too. After trying many other products like gels and mousse this is by far the best product for giving nice defined curls.

Not suitable for all hair types

I have low porosity, fine 2b curls and a even a little felt greasy. It does bring out my curl pattern and give a good hold though.

I like the product it's really nice and affordable thank you, the thing I don't like is other products I bought from you, disappointed me a lot.

Where has this been all my life?!Seriously. I have struggled with my hair ever since I can remember. All I have ever had from my curls is constant frizz and the smallest hint of a curl.This cream has drastically reduced my amount of frizz and my curls actually have definition for a change. My after photo is even on the day after using it which means I can now enjoy second day curls - hopefully more! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I’m over the moon.

Works like magic on Wavy Hair!! This definitely lives up to it's claims of being a 'Curl Enhancer' . I was sceptical at first because a lot of products say they do this but don't actually work and this one really does what it says! It makes my wavy hair much more defined and actually somehow curlier than it naturally is. I apply a tiny pea sized amount on my hands and whip it up to emulsify, then spread it evenly on my wet shoulder length hair. Afterwards I scrunch it with my hands and that's it, nothing else is needed. However if you feel you need more definition then you can add a gel or mousse on top but I prefer a softer look. Adds moisture to dry hair, smooths away frizz and gives curls a bounce. Great for refreshing hair on non-wash day as well by smoothing over a little bit of this product onto dry hair. Curly Girl approved and much loved favourite by many. Super affordable and lasts ages, what more could you want?

Lo utilizo para marcar más los rizos. Me encanta el aroma como a coco y a tropical. Un truquito: si me lo pongo sólo me marca muchísimo y es pesado pero yo pongo un poquito de producto y lo relleno de agua destilada y lo mezclo. De esta manera no es tan pescado y sirve para refrescar al día siguiente.

I've never seen my waves so well defined, so I love it. The only downside is that you can't use it with a leave in conditioner as it makes like a white foam.
