Sundown, Perfect Iron (As Carbonyl Iron) Tablets, 200 ct

I wish Sundown would continue making this product. No other carbonyl iron product works as well for me. It is truly a great loss to my health that Sundown has chosen to discontinue this product. I would continue to buy it if i COULD FIND IT. My doctor recommended these years ago, and I have been taking them steadily for 17 -20 years. I have to take other brands now, and they are terrible! I am hoping that Sundown will reconsider and bring these back.

Good iron, carbonyl is absorbed over time with digestion and I have not experienced any GI backup issues. I've been using Sundown Naturals Perfect Iron for close to five years now. I always tested low for iron and one tab a day is plenty for me. I do feel slightly more energized and am not really affected by the afternoon slump.

Bought this one because I researched that carbonyl iron didn't cause the normal side effects like constipation. Noticed an immediate change in my anemia. Color started coming back to my face, hair loss slowed and energy returned. I only take one pill per day. I've been taking it for one month and not sure how long I'll continue taking it.

This is a great supplement that raised my hemoglobin count by around three points and I was taking only one tablet per day. For me it has none of the negative side effects of ferrous sulfate (dark colored stool). Unfortunately, when I tried to reorder, the product seems to be no longer available.

Other iron pills I've taken have constipated me but these didn't. I was getting sick and coughing with a sore throat. I was always tired and never hungry and I was having mood swings and other problems and these took them all away.

I *love* this product! It really brought my iron levels up fast! I'm so disappointed that it's been discontinued.

Does its job! I have to have a little something in my stomach (even just a cracker) or it makes me queasy.
