I received and assembled this chair last night so I cannot provide longevity insights. HOWEVER. I am very pleased my decision to purchase this chair after looking at numerous options. I was surprised at the weight of the box when it arrived. The hardware and chair frame feel substantial and of good quality. It was packaged very well and everything you need for assembly is included and organized for ease. Assembly instructions were written clearly and images matched the written direction. It took maybe 15 -20 minutes in all but I like to take my time with these things so if you're a speed demon it could be done in less time. The seat portion of this chair is comfortable for me at 200lbs -- good supportive cushion; the edges don't dig into the backs of my legs -- only time will tell how it holds up but as of today I am pleased. The mesh back is nice and supportive and the option to tilt back is a nice feature; I didn't even realize this functionality existed when I made the purchase, I was solely focused on height adjustable, foot rest, comfy seat. I would definitely recommend purchasing this chair if you have been considering it!

I need this for my work table that I use for crafts and wood projects. I was happy enough with the first one that after a few months I purchased a second for a different location. It has good value for the price. It is comfortable and adjustable. So far, in about 4 months, I have not experienced any problems, so the quality is adequate. It is easy and quick to put together. The instructions are understandable although they have a few incorrect letters for the washers. But there is only one size so it isn’t important. My advice is to read all the directions before starting, be careful not to cross thread the screws, and do not over tighten them. I over tightened one screw and stripped it, but was able to get it out and replace it with one of the supplied extra screws. From a safety standpoint I find it easier to lower it to get on and off and then adjusting the height while you are on it rather that to leave it high and try to get on and off because of the wheels and the slight movement of the gas adjuster due to weight.

Simple and quick to put together. Rose easily on our carpet and is not too heavy. One of the most comfortable office chairs I’ve ever sat in. Very sturdy and appears to be high quality. It is a tall, drafting office chair, so it is too tall to sit at a standarddesk. My husband uses it to play his guitar in his office – music room. He can hold his guitar or a laptop in his lap because of the circular foot rest. I wish that they also made this in a standard height office chair..

This chair has been great for my shop. It was easy to put together and is comfortable throughout the work day. The only problem that I have with it, is it rolls very easy. Sometimes when you go to sit down on it, it wants to roll away from you. It would be great if there was a wheel lock option.

The chair was easy to assemble, and feels nice and sturdy. That's good as I'm a fairly hefty (200+ pounds) person. I like the mesh back - it really allows the air to flow through, which is great on hot days. Not having arms was one thing I needed since the arms interfere with playing the guitar, among other uses. The height is good as I also need to use this at a fairly high bench (not high enough for standing without stooping, which is hard on my back). My only complaint is the washers are kinda small and thin - they tend to bend a lot as you screw in the bolts. I might get some decent steel washers to replace them... I'll see how the included washers do for a while.

After a year of use. The bad: The material across the back has worn through in two spots at the edge where my belt touches. The front of the seat cushion is flattening out and the material is fraying. The chair squeaks constantly. The good: The base is still sturdy. The height adjustment holds just fine. Nothing has technically broken on the chair. This chair is used in a shop environment by a bunch of fat people. Note: I installed aftermarket casters when I got the chair. So, I don't know how the casters hold up. Overall this is a decent cheap chair.

Bought two for my office. They get used every day and holding up great. Better than expected.
