We bought this for my daughter's beach birthday party. Setting up the piñata was an origami project that was a little more time consuming than I would have liked but I eventually figured it out. That said, despite thinking I did a good job, it fell apart on the first hit by my 5 year old daughter who is quite small for her age so doesn't really have a whole lot of hitting power. The bottom flap came loose and candy started leaking but we were able to catch it and tape it up so the remaining kids could take a turn. From there it worked well, breaking after a couple turns per kid. So, if you do buy this, I'd tape up the bottom flap before you hang it.

Some assembly required, minimal instructions provided. Didn't break be strings were pulled (may be due to an assembly order on my part or poor design), but overall decent for the price and size. No kids were injured in the process and fun was had ... Moreover, my daughter was happy and that's all that mattered to me

This seemed almost impossible to effectively put this together to where it would be durable and not have the candy spill out after putting it upright. I ended up having to tape it together so that it was able to be hung.
