These worked within 20 minutes of putting them around the yard and water fountain in our yard. The Jays flew to the area, halted in mid-air and flew off carrying their peanut shells with them. No more finding peanut’s in my planters or having big holes in the soil. The spinners even stopped the crows from dipping their beaks into the yard fountain to get their food wet so they could eat whatever they had. I can finally rest and not run to the window every time I see these birds trying to sneak into our yard. The Jays will screech and complain but I don’t care.

Very pleased with these pinwheels. I purchased to use for Pinwheels for Prevention (Child Abuse Awareness). I put them in my front yard and they are eye catching, decent quality pinwheels. They are not flimsy like some that you buy. You do have to put the sticks on them when you get them but no biggie. They stuck right in the lawn with the pointed plastic end pieces. My grandchildren actually put them in the yard & they didn’t have any problems getting them in the ground. Easy to assemble, def worth the money. Will purchase more in the future! I will try to update my review with a pic tomorrow.

When I purchase this, I did not read the reviews. I wish I would have. When I did assemble the item, I was happy as I finish assembling them. I noticed I had a lot of fiberglass on my hands. Other customers described it as splinters, they are not splinters! Unfortunately, I assembled these pinwheels on my kitchen table. Now the covers are ruined. The shower glass everywhere. They should be taken off of Amazon. It’s a big danger to children and adults. Please do not buy this item – fiberglass everywhere.********Update**********I have rated this product four stars due to the exceptional communication provided by the seller. They promptly reached out to apologize for any inconvenience caused. While a full refund was offered, I was unable to accept it as the product is located in my garden. Loved them, especially the flexiblity to connect two stems to make them taller. Very easy to assemble, and add lots of color to my garden.

These do not deter Canadian geese at all. I put 10 of these in front of our creek & the next thing I know, 4 families of geese & their young were in our yard. They come in through the creek since they are ground bound with their young right now & they literally walked right by these things like they were nothing.Update: Amazing customer service. The seller reached out because of my review so I’m updating this to reflect that. In a world where customer service is almost nonexistent, this seller does care about their products & service. I should also say the spinning wheels are very well made so if you’re looking at these for other reasons (obviously, Canadian geese don’t care about them), you should buy them.

Now I bought these in an attemt to keep the peafowl out of my tomato plants, and it was a dismal fail.But I'm still giving them 5 stars because I really didnt think it would work, it was a longshot..There peacocks, there not afraid of people.5 stars because they are really very well made for the money.Stury, spin easy and look great..Now I was going to return them when the wife said, "why don't you keep them, they add a whimsy to the garden, and I'll admit she was right,, so 5 stars it is.

Well priced and seem sturdy outside so far (1 month). No idea if they will keep the birds away but very pretty.

All but one these actually work. You have to piece together the stakes for these spinners, there’s five plastic pieces that fit together plus the actual spinner. While putting these plastic parts together, I found there was some type of powdery residue on the plastic that really left my hands very irritated. It was as if I had come in contact with fiberglass!
