Q: What thickness are the insoles? the description only says thin but not the actual thickness. is the toe area thinner than the heel area?

The toe area is 1/8 inch thick increased to 7/18 inch at the heel. The insole is flat with no arch support; the protection is against heel impact. You have to buy your shoes a half size bigger to accommodate the insoles.
