Q: with strands of reflective ribbon in the orange would be perfect survival cord-any plans to make it?

I use it to make a short reflective snake knot lanyard on pocket knives, flashlights & small prytools.

Q: Is this a good size for a necklace?

It is a smaller size, if using as a single strand for a necklace it will look nice. If you are planning on weaving or braiding it, depending on the look you want it may be a tad thick. That is just my opinion as I use it for small paracord items.
