Q: Are you able to run 48v phantom through this splitter?

Hi Corey, Thanks for your interest in Seismic Audio and our selection of Pro Audio gear! While technically you can transmit phantom power through thee split snakes, you DO NOT WANT TO. The 48V will go from one mixer to the other, and this could damage them. Instead, you would use individual phantom power supply in between your condenser mics and the split box. There are also some rack mount multi channel phantom power supply. Please email us directly at customerservice@seismicaudiospeakers.com if you have any questions. Q: does anyone know how deep it is? i'm mounting it in a narrow rack.

The unit itself is two and a half inches ,but the socket for the tails sticks out about three inches . Total of about six inches . The tails are what eat up the room in the rack
