The indicator light on the top keeps flashing when it runs out of power. Also, you can check the battery percentage at the Bluetooth connection interface on your computer

Q: If it doesn't connect by bluetooth (because of a problem on the other device) can it be used with a usb or lightning cable? like a wired mouse?!

If BT is not an option use the IR adapter that came with it to connect, [whitch the toggle under the mouse to IR] the USB-C cable is only for recharging the mouse
