It works and came shipped with no damage
This di resin filter does do what it's supposed to,this would be excellent for a person just trying to keep there vehicles looking nice, but as a auto detailing business it's to dam small.all my pre wash and wash jobs I do out side it don't matter if it's a black vehicle on 100 deg day.di resin filters do a amazing job I just think there a pain in the ass keeping up with fresh resin and water hose.i bought the 1500 drying towel from the rag company and I prefer to use it then a du resin filter

Does not meet the company's promise of 0 ppm TDS
I followed the installation and usage instructions. Even went so far as to put a water pressure regulator inline and also used a water flow control so the pressure never exceeded 50 PSI and the water flow never exceeded 2 gpm. Using a TDS metering device, the incoming water was 150-155 ppm and after passing thru the dual filters the best reading was 30 ppm TDS. I tried reaching out to the company via their website and 1 week later I've not received any type of response. Before the end of this week (in the next 3 days) I will try executing a refund request thru Amazon. I did submit the refund request which was accepted. I used the return label provided and it is on the way back to the seller/manufacturer. Update - After withholding 40% of the refund for "restocking fee" I recommend you avoid this company/storefront at all costs. They claimed the reason for the refund was "customer return" and ignored the fact the product was defective and didn't/couldn't meet the promised 0 ppm TDS.

Water filters
I use these filters on a mobile car detailing cart. They provide spot free car washes. I always wash in direct sunlight. I never get water spots. I love them.

Move on to something else
This is pretty garbage. I was skeptical. My water pressure is 62 PSI. Lowered down to 55 as that is in their spec and it blows out on of the seals. Lowered it down to 45PSI, still leaks with a lot of teflon tape and 45PSI. Does not blow out the seal anymore but cannot keep up with my basic Ryobi pressure washer. This is a pretty garbage product for car detailing.

Check ther cartridges and Media before doing anything else
I liked the price for what I wanted to use it for. The unit was received fully assemble (cartridges installed). I only had to install the hose connectors and connect to the water supply. Before connecting to the water supply I tested the water and found a TDS = 64 and pH = 7.67. After connecting and running about 2 gallons through the filter, I tested the water: TDS = 50 and pH = 10.5. Tested again with similar results. Then I removed the cartridges. The media was almost completely depleted/used. See photos. I emptied the cartridges and repacked the unit in the box. to return to Amazon. I ordered a DI unit from a different manufacturer. This unit came in the manufacturer's packaging, the media was vacuum sealed and so was the cartridge holder. This unit had plastic threads to screw in the hose adaptors. The new DI unit has brass inserts. After loading the media and attaching the cartridges and hose connectors I tested the water. TDS = 0 and pH= 7.5. I was sent a USED DI unit by the Manufacturer's reseller here in the USA. Buyer beware.

I've used Max Water many times for filtration supplies but never deion resin. No surprise it's perfect like always - fast shipping and quality product. Realistically 5 lbs is 5 refills for standard 10" cartridge not 7 as suggested but I knew that going in. With shipping and taxes it's just over $16 Canadian per refill (at 5 refills) which is a great deal. Definitely recommend. Edit: Wow price jump from $55 to $75, too bad.

I purchased this resine at end of 2023 and installed it recently (end of July 2-24)… keep it in a dry place in its original packaging. Within 15 days, the résine started to turn blue over the lower quarter of each cartridge (I placed two cartridge into two housing conceited in series to get a near zero TDS on my RO system… my water started smelling like rotten fish last week. After a careful investigation, I found that it was this résine. Apparently, once saturated, it release a chemical coupoir d because of the die or something like that… anyway, even with a carbon filter, the stink was horrible, especially with heated water. I had to remove all cartridge and carbon block, and even change some pipes…. Buyer beware

This media started to give off a fishy smell, I suspect from the type of anion used on the media. I had to pull it out and thoroughly rinse everything to get the smell out and replace the media with the green/blue type that changes color.

Be aware does not fit culigan filter housings and broke the filter. This sent the resin all through my system.
