My tank has a 13 gallon capacity. The way I did it was as follows: 1. Run my tank almost dry. 2. Emptied a BG44K Fuel System Cleaner container into my fuel tank at the gas station. 3. Filled my tank with almost 13 gallons; this way the BG 44K was nicely distributed/dilluted. 4. After I had used about 8 gallons, I refilled the tank full while there was still plenty of BG 44K in the fuel. That was that. The results were more than impressive and I could not be happier. Thank you for the very good question.

Q: Difference between original and platinum?

I haven't noticed any difference. In excelleration or gas miliage.

Q: Will this stuff expire? I found a case in my garage that i bought about 8 yrs ago.

I'm not positive... but I don't believe it expires
