Large Oversized Heavy Duty Roller Shower Curtain Rings - Set of 12 Polished Clipperton 2" RollerRings

At the end of our renovations, I asked my contractor to put up a curtain rod in my guest bathroom. I guess he didn't check into standard sizes for the poles for that kind of thing because the pole he put up was larger in diameter. The nice rings I bought would go on, barely, but then they wouldn't move. He told me it was the fault of the rings, that they just didn't move well, and got me some of those rings you put into large batches of hole-punched paper when the stack of paper is too thick to fit a binder. Ugly. My housekeeper and I tried putting the old rings back on, and that's when we discovered that the pole was too large. Amazon to the rescue yet again! I searched on oversized shower curtain rings, and found these. They look like the ones I originally bought and loved, and they fit the fat pole really well. I have pretty rings in my shower curtain again, and they move freely, no problem. Thanks, Amazon.

I don't like that I had to pay so much for them, but what can you do when you move in to a new place with a permanently installed heavy-duty shower curtain rod. Anyway, they're very solid, easy to install, will probably last forever, and work great. EDIT: It's 2021. They do last forever.

These shower curtain rings glide smoothly over the rod and look great! I was concerned that they wouldn't be as attractive as the original rings which came with the curtain, but they're actually much prettier and the curtain slides without a glitch. I'm very pleased!

I just got these the other day. I am remodeling my bathroom and decided to use a wooden closet rod for a shower curtain rod instead of a metal one. The wooden rod is 1 3/8 diameter so a regular shower curtain hook wouldn't work. I was glad to find these oversize ones online and the little rollers sure make it smooth operating. I only gave it four stars instead of five because of the way they open. If your not careful you could rip the shower curtain. I noticed that some of the shower curtain hooks with the little rollers that have two hooks with a little steel ball on the end of each hook so they wont tear the shower curtain and would be a little easier to put through the holes to boot. One hook for the shower curtain and the other one for the liner. I didn't see those in the oversize hooks so I got these.

I looked far and wide for these oversized shower curtain rings for my heavy duty curtain rod. They are very sturdy, roll smoothly, and look beautiful. I have had them for a couple of months and so far they have not rusted.

These are just what we were looking for! We have large, heavy canvas curtains (approx 10' x 10') we hang from a steel pipe to block the sun on the awning of our desert home. These roller rings have handled the weight and almost daily opening and closing. Sometimes they need adjustments (easy to do with your hand). The rollers have lasted though when we take them down next season, I will probably give them a little oil soak to keep them rolling smoothly. These are sized as advertised - we needed something to fit 2" pipe and these are perfect. Am very happy with this product!

I measured my curtain bar. It is 1 3/8" in diameter. These rings do not fit. They are not hard to close they simply will not close around the bar. If you somehow managed with pliers to close them over the bar they would not slide. In short they are not what they claim. They are a very expensive set of shower curtain slides that might work for a normal sized curtain bar.

just like any other shower rings, but at least they a fit large-diametre pole. i live in a converted warehouse with lots of industrial touches, & the shower bar is a pipe affixed to the walls. until i found these, we were making do with stretched out rings that occasionally fell off.
