Q: Are the soles as soft and squishy as the sketchers walk Joy? I don’t need them that soft.

I'm not familiar with the Skecher's Walk Joy style, but these slip ons are light weight. The soles are thick enough for taking a walk, and, to me, very comfortable.

Q: Is the sole flexible or stiff? I'm 94 with arthritis and need a flexible sole to be able to walk in them. Also is the shoe heavy?

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and the sole does not have to be flexible to be comfortable. I was just diagnosed last week with rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and feet. They r my favorite shoes to wear. I am 83.
