Q: Has anyone tried in a store bought Angel food cake mix?

It didn't work for me. Angel Food cake needs too many eggs. In cake recipes, egg replacer works best when the mix calls for 2 eggs, or with most made from scratch recipes. Try Angel Food cake in a coffee cup. 3 TBL. cake mix in a coffee mug. Add 2 TBL of water & stir well. Cook in microwave on high for 1 minute. Top with fruit or ice cream, whipped topping.

Q: Manufacturer/Seller does it contain yeast? What is the “leavening” listed?

I've used this product for over 20 years and just love it. Even some of my non-vegan friends use it now that they've sampled some of the baked goods I've treated them to! There is no yeast in this egg replacer. I use it as a binder, not a leavener. Often recipes will have other leaveners to help baked goods rise. The major advantage of using this product over eggs is that your baked goods come out so much more moist and tender than if using eggs. It's a noticeable and remarkable difference.
